01 — The house
Bahaar means spring — the season, and the feeling of a garden coming back to life. We built one, and put ten rooms around it.
Family-run, deliberately small. Brick walls softened by jaali screens and bougainvillea, terrazzo paths under a jackfruit tree, and a pool that belongs to whoever is staying that night.
02 — The garden
Built to be sat in, not looked at.
Mornings begin with chai on the path while the sprinklers finish. By noon the shade has moved to the swing. At seven the lights come on in the trees and the garden becomes a different place entirely.

Four moods, ten rooms.
No two rooms are dressed alike. Every one has a king bed, cool floors, a kettle and tea, hot water and quiet air-conditioning. Breakfast is included. Drag to browse.

04 — The pool
One pool. Ten rooms. Never a crowd.
Teak loungers, cool tile, fruit plates and lassi carried out from the kitchen. Swim at dusk when the water holds the last of the light. Book the whole villa, and it is yours alone.

05 — Evenings
Dinner under the lights. Then the bar, then billiards.
The kitchen cooks Punjabi food the way it is cooked at home — sarson da saag in season, dal that took the afternoon, rotis from the tandoor. Afterwards there is a bar cart on wheels, a billiards table under the stairs, and no last orders.

Arrival and departure
Rooms from 12 noon; departure by 10 am. Early or late is usually possible — simply ask.

Children and grandparents are very welcome. We do not host stag or hen parties.
Food and drink
Vegetarian and non-vegetarian Punjabi home cooking, a continental breakfast, and a bar. Tell us about dietary needs before you arrive.
Visiting for the day
Weekend pool-and-lunch reservations are limited to thirty guests so the garden never feels crowded.
